PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) – Police say gunfire struck a parked vehicle near Portsmouth Park early Tuesday morning.

The shooting was reported around 1:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of North Wall, the Bureau of Emergency Communications reported.

North Precinct officers responded, and reportedly found evidence of gunfire near North Lombard and Portsmouth. At least one vehicle was damaged from gunfire, police said.

Neighbors told police they heard multiple rounds fired. It is believed that the shooter fled the scene immediately after opening fire.

Officers have not released a suspect description. Police said there are no known gunshot victims.

Members with the police bureau’s Gang Enforcement Team responded and are investigating, police said.
