CORVALLIS, Ore. (KOIN 6) — An adult woman whose body was found in a Corvallis park Sunday morning died as a result of homicide, Corvallis police said Monday.
The body was discovered around 10:30 a.m. in Alan B. Berg Park and authorities ruled it a homicide on Monday. An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death will be conducted by the Oregon State Medical Examiner.
The name of the white woman has not yet been released, and officials said positive identification has yet to be made.
The investigation, which includes the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, the Oregon State Police, Philomath PD and the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, has not turned up any suspects at this time.
