PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Two Portland police officers suffered minor injuries when a stolen car rammed through a police blockade.

Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, police were pursuing a stolen car on NE Pacific Street and cornered the car on a dead-end road. But the driver rammed through and took off before stopping on NE 120th.

The driver, later identified as Brandon Boik, tried to run off but was quickly captured. A 20-year-old woman was also taken into custody, but she was later released without charges.

Police said they found two guns inside the stolen car.

Boik, 26, faces two counts of second-degree assault, though more charges may be filed.
