VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN 6) — A Vancouver man convinced five of his neighbors to let him coordinate their Christmas lights displays, and set them to music in the 14000 block of NE 9th Street near 141st Avenue.
Daryl Travis, a computer programmer, set the lights to music over six front yards because his wife loves Christmas. He said it’s already ignited the spirit of Christmas on his block.
“It’s actually bringing neighborhood together, we have to work together, talk a lot more,” he said.
Travis, who said he stopped counting lights at 30,000, said he is already planning his display for next year.
