PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — There were no serious injuries in a crash on I-205 southbound that closed the highway’s left lanes.

The crash, in the southbound lanes of I-205, is impacting traffic north of Foster Rd. in Portland. Just before 8:00 p.m., all lanes were reopened.

Motorists experienced major delays, but the crash scene was clear by 8:30 p.m.

Simpson said no one suffered serious injuries, after one car traveling southbound swerved, causing an SUV driven by a woman transporting three young children,  to swerve and hit the highway’s center divider. Another vehicle driven by a lone male swerved and hit the barrier.

Two of the children in the SUV, between the ages of two and five, were transported to hospital.
