OREGON CITY, Ore. (KOIN 6) — An Oregon City man accused of shooting and killing his wife last month is now in the Clackamas County Jail. 38-year-old Raymond Johnson was arrested Friday at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, where he was recovering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Oregon City Police say Johnson shot his wife, 32-year-old Rebekah Johnson, at their home during an argument. He then shot himself. Their two children, ages 5 and 7, were home at the time.
Both Rebekah and Raymond were taken to hospitals. Rebekah died from her injuries the next day.
Raymond Johnson is charged with murder. No bail has been set.
