MARION COUNTY, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Authorities are on the lookout for a 24-year-old man after he allegedly stole a 46-year-old man’s vehicle at gunpoint in Marion County Monday morning.

Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 7800 Block of State Street, which is east of Salem, around 11 a.m. after a man called to report that someone had stolen his vehicle from him at gunpoint.

The stolen vehicle is a 2014 blue GMC Sierra pick-up with aluminum rims. The stolen vehicle has Oregon license 516GTS.

Deputies responded immediately to check the area for the stolen vehicle as well as contact the victim. Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Unit responded to the scene to conduct an investigation and have identified the suspect as 24-year-old Elieser Villa from Salem.

Police said Villa allegedly pointed a small caliber handgun at the victim and demanded his money. Once the victim gave Villa his money, the victim was told to get out of the vehicle. Villa and an unknown woman then drove off in the victim’s truck, police said.

Authorities added that it is unknown what the woman’s involvement was at this point.

The victim was not injured during the robbery and an investigation into the incident is on-going.

Anyone who sees the stolen vehicle or Villa is asked to contact 911 immediately. Villa is considered to be armed and potentially dangerous.
