CLACKAMAS, Ore. (KOIN 6) — A reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in the roadside killing of a Clackamas County weighmaster has been increased to $25,000.
On Feb. 6, 2014, Grady Waxenfelter was shot to death during a traffic stop on a commercial truck near Boring. His death was witnessed by a man riding with Waxenfelter as he did his duties for the county.
The man suspected in the killing is Dirck Morgan White. At the time of the shooting, there was a warrant out for White’s arrest on weapons charges and he was wanted for questioning in a child rape.
White should be considered armed and dangerous.
To date, the nationwide search for White has not proved successful, so the Clackamas County Commissioners increased the reward from $16,000 to $25,000.
White was last known to be driving a silver 2004 Mercedes E320 with a Washington license plate ANB-7070.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
