Olsen was robbed at gunpoint and killed in SE Portland's Woodstock neighborhood

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — The Portland Police Bureau has released a forensic sketch of a suspect they believe was involved in the killing of 30-year-old Michael Olson.

Olson was robbed and shot dead in the 6100 block of SE 52nd Avenue near Woodstock September 30 while walking with a friend.

A witness described the suspect as a light-skinned African American or Hispanic male, police said.

Police said homicide investigators continue to follow leads, and believe several people may have information about the shooting — including information from social media sites including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
