MILWUAKIE, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Dave’s Killer Bread is in the process of going national and releasing two new flavors of bread.
The Milwaukie-based company is on track to be in all 50 states by the end of this year, and starting Wednesday, two new flavors will hit store shelves.
The new breads are both thin sliced and low in calories.
While the company is expanding, Product Manager Dan Letchinger said they’re not losing their local flare.
“We started at the Portland’s Farmers’ Market in 2005, and we definitely haven’t forgotten our roots,” Letchinger said. “As we expand nationally, we still will be a Northwest brand and we will still be committed to all the same values that we started with back in the day.”
Currently, Dave’s Killer Bread is in 25 states and Canada. The company will celebrate its 10th anniversary this coming spring.
