PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Nearly two pounds of heroin plus lesser amounts of meth, crack cocaine and marijuana were seized by West Linn police during a search in Portland, authorities said in a release.

Peter Mann was arrested for possession and distribution of controlled substances, police said in a release.

West Linn police got a search warrant for a house at 17942 E. Burnside in Portland during an investigation into a stolen car from West Linn. A suspect in that case, Vladimir Budey, was traced by a credit card he used at a local business. That led police to the Burnside address.

Police said they saw Budey in the area just before the search, but he fled and remains at large. Authorities said the 32-year-old has outstanding warrants from other spots.

Mann, 63, remains jailed at the Multnomah County Jail.
