TIGARD, Ore. (KOIN 6) — A 21-year-old was cited for careless driving after a 3-car crash that involved a Tigard police car.

The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Scholls Ferry Road and 121st, Tigard police said in a release. Officer Cameron Odam and the driver of another vehicle were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Odam was later released from the hospital. The second driver’s condition is not known at this time.

The driver who allegedly caused the crash, Aaron Weight, was checked out at the scene and then cited for failure to drive within the lane as well as careless driving.
