EUGENE, Ore. (KOIN 6) — The man listed as Ulster County, New York’s most wanted fugitive was arrested Sunday in Eugene at an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament.
Jahson Marryshow, 31, was wanted in New York after allegedly robbed a bank, stole a car and burned down a barn in 2010. Marryshow allegedly showed a gun at the Bank of America location before the chase.
At one point during the chase, Marryshow was arrested, but was able to escape custody, Eugene Police said. He had not been seen since 2010, but authorities learned from a citizen’s tip that he was living in Eugene.
He was taken into custody Sunday afternoon at roughly 5:00 p.m. at the Frisbee competition, held in the area of E. 24th Ave and Hilyard St. in Eugene.
