Knife fight at Tigard apartment sends two to hospital

Argument among group of acquaintances quickly escalated

TIGARD, Ore. (KOIN 6) — A group of men, all acquainted with each other, had a knife fight early Wednesday morning outside a Tigard apartment building, sending one person to the hospital.

The fight, which happened at roughly 3:30 a.m., at the Park Place Apartments at 11555 SW 88th Ave. in Tigard, also involved a baseball bat, police said.

One man was sent to OHSU for stab wounds, and police later learned another man was also being treated at  a local hospital for stab wounds.

An investigation revealed the men, who all knew each other, got into an argument that quickly escalated to a knife fight.

Only one person was arrested, for a warrant. The investigation continues.
