SHERWOOD, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Sherwood Police school liaison officer Adam Keesee, the husband of Sherwood High School teacher Denise Keesee, who was sentenced to 30 days in prison for having a sexual relationship with a student, has been cleared.

An internal investigator determined allegations against Keesee of harassing Denise Keesee’s accuser were unfounded. Such harassment would be a violation of department policy.

Adam Keesee had been on paid administrative leave from his duties as a school resource officer at Sherwood High Schol since December 2012. No criminal charges were filed against him, but he remained on leave awaiting an internal investigation.

After an Oregon State Police led investigation, the case was forwarded on to the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office, who did not prosecute.

Still, in February 2014, after the criminal investigation came out clean, an internal investigation by the City of Sherwood Attorney’s Office kept Keesee on leave.

August 20, Keesee was removed from leave and returned to full duty.
