PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — One man is injured after a shooting during a fight involving multiple people in North Portland’s Northgate Park Sunday night.

Just after 10:30 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the park, at 6000 North Fessenden Street, and found one man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

A fight involving several men broke out inside the park, and police don’t know whether or not the shooting is gang related.

Police were dispatched on the report of a disturbance and possibly someone stabbed in the park.

Several officers, including a Police K-9 and Air Support Unit, are searching the area for any potential suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the Portland Police.
