SALEM, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Relatives who became suspicious about why a man wanted them to hide his computer called authorities after they found child pornography on it.

Robert Littleton Willis faces 123 counts of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office said.

In June, Willis gave his computer to relatives in Mill City because, investigators said in a release, he knew he was being investigated by the Child Welfare Division in Marion County.

The relatives eventually looked at the contents of the computer and discovered explicit child pornography pictures. They called authorities.

A detailed look at his computer found 123 pictures and video, including some of child rape.

Willis was arrested and is being held on bail of $1,230,000.
