Body found in Clackamas field a homicide victim

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KOIN 6) — The victim of a homicide, whose body was found in a rural Clackamas County field August 11, has been identified.

Aloha man Misael “Gallo” Delgado Nunez, 45, was last seen near Beaverton Saturday, August 9 and was found dead from a gunshot wound. Then, police put out a call to help identify him based on a cross necklace he was wearing.

Nunez’ friends and family were able to identify him. Police have not said whether field, between Wilsonville and Aurora, near NE Arndt Rd and Hwy. 551, is the scene of the crime. The Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy and determined the man died from a gunshot wound.

Sheriff’s Office Patrol deputies responded to a citizen’s report of a body, which was later located by fire and police personnel.
