CLARK COUNTY, Wash. (KOIN 6) — A 2-year-old, initially said to have drowned despite the efforts of a nurse who happened to be in the area in Northern Clark County Monday afternoon, was on life support Tuesday.

But the boy has died, authorities confirmed Tuesday afternoon.

The young boy was reported missing shortly before 3 p.m. on Yale Lake, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said. That area is only accessible by boat, authorities said.
