COWLITZ COUNTY, Wash. (KOIN 6) – Two friends led police in Cowlitz County on high speed chases on the same day in May.
Dashcam footage from each chase shows police eventually arresting Dale Woodley and Max Fiest.
When Woodley was arrested, he told officers he was working for his friend.
“I call him Max,” he can be heard saying in the footage.
Just two hours later, Fiest was on the run and also led police on a high-speed chase reaching speeds of 120 mph. Fiest was wanted for identity theft and heroin possession.
The chase for Fiest went on for 25 miles before he ran out of options and ended up on a gravel road that turned to grass.
He ran from the car and jumped into a creek. He was quickly arrested.
Both Woodley and Fiest are serving eight-year prison terms.
