Rich Fein, the owner of Cynergy E-Bikes, told KOIN 6 News a man came in and asked to test drive the E-Motion 650 B Jumper, the most expensive bike in the store. He provided a driver’s license for the test drive.

But he never returned to the store at 3822 SE Powell Boulevard.

The thief did not get one important item — the key.

“It can be ridden for a short period of time but it is an electric-assisted bike, and in order to charge it you need the key,” Fein said.

The investigation continues.
