15-year-old held for car prowls, burglary

The investigation continues into similar incidents over the past few months

BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (KOIN 6) — A 15-year-old Battle Ground resident was arrested on suspicion of at least 12 vehicle prowls and one home burglary on one night.

The teen was arrested July 11 — the night of the car prowls and burglary — by an officer on patrol in the 1800 block of NW 4th Street, officials said in a release.

The teen, whose name has not been released, is being held in the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center. He face a felony charge of second-degree theft, residential burglary, 12 counts of vehicle prowling and being a minor in possession.

The investigation continues into other similar incidents over the past several months.
