CHEMULT, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Two pipe bombs were found in the vehicle of an intoxicated man who allegedly broke a car window and threatened to blow up a house in Klamath County late Saturday night.

Around 10:12 p.m., Oregon State Police said in a release, they went to a house in the 500 block of Benard Lane after someone called to report the incident.

Donald E. Cockerill, 26, was arrested without incident. But an investigation found two pipe bombs in his vehicle. A bomb squad was called to remove the devices, which were homemade.

He now faces charges of possessing a destructive device, menacing, harassment, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct.
