SALEM, Ore. (KOIN 6) — One person was pulled out of a car that went off a Marion County road and rolled down an embankment early Friday morning.

A passerby noticed the car down the hill along Rambler Drive NE near Yew Tree Lane in rural Marion County, officials said in a release. That person called 911.

Within minutes emergency crews were at the scene and used the Jaws of Life to pry the roof of the car open and remove the occupant of the car. An ambulance took the person to a nearby hospital for treatment.
