CASTLE ROCK, Wash. (KOIN 6) — A SW Washington man got the surprise of a lifetime when he found out he won a sweepstakes.

Neil Kroll is a million dollars richer after winning a Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes and has become the talk of the town.

“I wish it was me,” neighbor Curtis Hornbuckle said while laughing. “Don’t we all?”

Many in the small town of Castle Rock said they couldn’t believe someone they knew had actually won the contest.

“If I believed everything that got sent to me in the mail, I’d be a million and a half richer,” said Les Greene, the town barber.

Kroll said he plans to give most of the money away, saying he’ll pray about what to do with the money.
