LA CENTER, Wash. (KOIN 6) — Clark County Dive Teams continued to search for a missing 25-year-old Battle Ground man after his boat was found still running on the Columbia River on Saturday.

Divers were near the mouth of the Lewis River just north of Ridgefield on Sunday looking for Jay Jones.

Since Jones’ boat was still running when it was spotted, officials said the search area is “significantly large.” However, search boats were concentrating their sonar equipment on a half-mile area near Austin Point.

Multiple 911 callers reported seeing the 16-foot Smokercraft aluminum boat still running, unoccupied, while at least one witness reported seeing a person in the water on Saturday.
