VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN 6) — A 57-year-old man thought to be upset over the end of a relationship is now behind bars accused of setting fire to a house in Vancouver.

Timothy C. Meagher faces arson charges in a fire that caused $100,000 damage to a house at 6208 NE Wilding Road. A witness told investigators Meagher was seen at the house about an hour before the fire began.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Meagher was arrested at a cabin in remote Cowlitz County, a cabin owned by his employer. But he did not have permission to be there, authorities said.

He faces first-degree arson charges.
