Ed Barnes chosen to fill Clark County commission

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN 6) — Ed Barnes was named as the third member of the Clark County Commissioners, filling the spot vacated by Steve Stuart.

Barnes, a retired labor leader, will be sworn in next week to fill the rest of Stuart’s term. He was selected by commissioners  David Madore and Tom Mielke.

Stuart left in April to become the city manager of Ridgefield.
