Crews respond to fire at recycling facility

TUALATIN, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue responded to a commercial structure fire Tuesday evening in Tualatin.

Firefighters arrived at a recycling facility on SW Tualatin-Sherwood Road just before 8:30 p.m.

Crews said three employees who were inside the recycling facility when the fire began were able to exit the building safely. Those employees were being checked by medical staff, but no injuries were reported.

As of 8:45 p.m., crews had made their way into the structure to extinguish the flames.
