WEST LINN, Ore. (KOIN 6) — West Linn police arrested two people suspected of breaking into neighborhood vehicles.

Officers first responded to the area of West A and Webb Street following a report two people were inside a homeowner’s car. Initial reports suggest the woman confronted the suspects after seeing them in the vehicle, with them telling her they were being chased by someone and were just hiding in the car.

One of the suspects, 27-year-old Tamara Ross, was quickly arrested. Alexander Barber, 19, was taken into custody after a brief chase into a nearby park.

Break-in tools and several allegedly stolen items were found with the pair. Barber was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on unlawful entry with a motor vehicle. Ross, also in the Clackamas County facility, faces theft and drug charges.
