TUALATIN, Ore. (KOIN 6) – A composite sketch was released Tuesday of a man suspected of robbing a Palm Beach Tan location in Tualatin Monday night.

The robber walked into the salon at 7184 SW Hazelfern Road around 8:50 p.m., police said. He brandished a 4-inch long bladed knife with an orange handle, threatened the employee and got away with about $300.

A second man was seen by witnesses waiting outside the salon, police said. They both ran off.

The suspect is a white man in his 20s with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark colored puffy jacket, jeans, black Converse shoes and a dark baseball cap. The cap had a gothic “E” embroidered on the front, and the suspect wore a white bandana under the cap.

He also had a noticeable bruise on the left side of his jaw and mumbled as he spoke.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tualatin Detective Jill Chapman at 503.691.4842.
