SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities are looking for a man the FBI believe robbed two separate Oregon banks in less than a week.

In both cases, the man walked into the bank, threatened the teller with promises to use a weapon, and left with cash. No one was hurt in either robbery.

Monday, April 28, a suspect robbed the UMPQUA Bank at 1790 Garden Valley Boulevard in Roseburg. May 2, a similar-looking man robbed the U.S. Bank branch located at 3485 Commercial Street SE in Salem.

The suspect is a white man in his forties or fifties of average height and build.  The amount of money he made off with is undisclosed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI or local police.
