VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) — A 15-year-old girl who frequently runs away from home and has been missing since March may be the victim of sex trafficking, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said.

Police, her guardian and the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children are asking the public for help.

Police said she may be with a man twice her age, who may be encouraging her to engage in dangerous and illegal activity.

Adrian Brown, of Aloha, Or., consistently engages in what police call “dangerous and self-destructive behavior.”

Police believe she may be engaging in this type of behavior.

Brown’s guardian is concerned because although she runs away frequently, she has not been missing for this length of time before.

Brown has multiple tattoos, including one of herself on her right arm and frequently wears a bandana on her forehead. She is five-foot seven-inches tall, with dyed auburn hair.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911.
