SILVERTON, Ore. (KOIN 6) — Teachers and community members raised their concerns at a school board meeting on Monday about the condition of an elementary school.

Parents of students at Eugene Field Elementary said they are dealing with everything from mold issues to lead paint.

Some parents asked the school board to approve moving students into portable classrooms while the issues get fixed and are also pushing for a bond measure that would fund building a new school.

The school board did not make any decisions on the issue Monday night.
