LAKEVIEW, Ore. (KOIN 6) — The former Lake County deputy who turned himself in Sunday morning was arrested again that evening after new warrants were issued.

According to Oregon State Police (OSP) Sergeant Robert Fenner, Kenneth Turkle, 42, who turned himself in on three counts of sexual abuse and three counts of sexual delinquency of a minor after allegedly disappearing with 17-year-old Marriah Andrews, was arrested again for custodial interference in the first degree and tampering with a witness moments after he bailed from Lake County Jail on the earlier charges.

Andrews, who was allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with Turkle, was found on Sunday afternoon when she contacted a local law enforcement officer in Lakeview, OSP said.

OSP and local law enforcement agencies had been searching for Andrews since Friday when she was first reported missing. Andrews is back with her family now, according to OSP.

OSP detectives said they are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the Lake County District Attorney’s Office.
