PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The sun may already be out in Portland, but there’s still time to get a few more runs in on the ski hill — so on the last day of the year, why not do it for free?
Mount Hood Ski Bowl is offering a free day of skiing or snowboarding on Sunday April 13 for its 15th annual customer appreciation day.
There are “no strings attached,” the resort said in a statement.
Still, guests are encouraged to donate four cans of food to the Portland Police Bureau’s Sunshine Division, which provides emergency food boxes for families in need.
Skiers and boarders can ride free from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
