Four teams head to Big D

UNDATED (AP) — Connecticut and Kentucky are joining Florida and Wisconsin in the Final Four.

The Connecticut Huskies advanced with a 60-54 win over Michigan state in the NCAA East Regional final in New York.

The Wildcats defeated Michigan 75-72 at the Midwest Regional championship in Indianapolis.

The National Semifinals of the Final Four will take place next Saturday with East champion Connecticut playing Florida and Kentucky going up against the West champion, Wisconsin.

The national collegiate men’s basketball championship game will be a week from this Monday. All games are being played in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, outside Dallas.
