Plaid Pantry robbed, suspect found at Jack in the Box

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 45-year-old man who allegedly demanded money from a Plaid Pantry in Northeast Portland was arrested shortly after the robbery inside a restroom at a nearby Jack in the Box.

The robbery at the Plaid Pantry at 6220 NE Sandy Boulevard happened just before 11 a.m., police said. The robber did not use or say he had a weapon, and left the store after getting an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect, Ivan Dyer, was found shortly after inside the Jack in the Box at NE 57th and Sandy. He was arrested without incident and faces a charges of third-degree theft.
