PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 9-year-old boy who does not speak English, missing in Portland for a few hours Sunday, was found safely early Sunday night.
Nimetollah Hossein got off a TriMet bus with his parents between 3:45 p.m. and 4 p.m. at SE 76th Avenue and Powell Boulevard, police said in a release. But his parents lost sight of him.
He was found in the 2700 block of W. Powell Boulevard in Gresham, police said. Investigators are looking at the possibility the boy stayed on the bus when his family got off.
A citizen noticed the boy and called 911.
