PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Deputies arrested four people in a SWAT raid Thursday morning at a Battle Ground home suspected of drug activity.

The investigation and ensuing raid was in response to numerous neighborhood complaints that heroin was being sold out of the home at 21615 NE 259th St.

At about 6 a.m. members of the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force and Southwest Washington Regional SWAT served the search warrant at the home, where they found heroin, methamphetamine, drug scales, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, a stolen car that had already been stripped for parts, numerous needles and syringes and $8,700 in cash.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, customers would park down the street and walk up to the home, where they would exchange cash for drugs at a window.

The suspects were identified as 23-year-old Michael Steven Thompson, 24-year-old Leonard Daniel Langdon II, 24-year-old Jeremy Todd Howem and 51-year-old Sheila Ann Langdon.

They were lodged in the Clark County Jail on various drug-related charges.
