BETHANY, Ore. (KOIN) — A 39-year-old Bethany man surrendered to authorities after a Grand Jury indicted him for sex crimes with young boys.

Johnathan Richard Black allegedly lured minor victims to his home and had sexual contact. At least five confirmed victims have come forward, and authorities believe there may be more.

“His home was kid friendly, and then he would use drugs and alcohol to influence the children,” said Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Black worked as a dispatcher at OHSU, but KOIN 6 News learned he had no access to patients or children.

His loved ones maintain the father of three is innocent.

“I’ve known him 10 years,” said family friend Krisha Ross. “He didn’t do it.”

He’s being held in the Washington County Jail on bail of $1,745,000 and faces 15 separate sex crime charges and numerous others for drugs.

The charges break down as follows:

3 charges of first-degree sex abuse
2 charges of second-degree sex abuse
2 charges of third-degree sex abuse
1 charge of first-degree sodomy
1 charge of third-degree sodomy
4 charges of luring a minor
2 charges of using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct

Plus two charges of delivering marijuana
