Lake Oswego bank robbed, suspect sought

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Police are looking for a man who robbed a Chase Bank in Lake Oswego Tuesday afternoon.

The robbery occurred after 1 p.m. at a branch at 111 S. State St. According to Lake Oswego police, the man presented a demand note and fled after receiving cash. He did not show a gun and no one was hurt.

He was last seen on Leonard Street. He was not seen getting into a vehicle.

Surveillance photos have been released. The man is described as black, 20 to 30 years old with long dark hair. He was wearing a green baseball cap with the capital letter “JD.” He had a dark brown front-zip hooded sweatshirt with the word “Powell’s.” He was wearing skinny straight-legged pants, maybe jeans, and all-white shoes.
