PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After 20 years, the Wildwood will close its doors next Tuesday, the restaurant confirmed to KOIN 6 News.

Negotiations on a new lease did not work out, and the NW 21st eatery that many call a Portland institution will have its final day on February 25.

Founded in 1994 by Cory Schreiber, the Wildwood earned awards and accolades through the years.

Current executive chef Dustin Clark and general manager Cana Flug will team up for another undisclosed project, PDXeater.com said.
