PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The injury bug hit the Trail Blazers Tuesday.
LaMarcus Aldridge will miss at least one week after straining his left groin, the team announced. He’ll be evaluated after that time.
Center Meyers Leonard sprained his left ankle in practice Tuesday and is out 2-3 weeks.
Aldridge, who just played in the NBA All-Star Game, is averaging 23.9 points per game, with 11.4 rebounds. In a limited role, Leonard is averaging 2.7 points and 3 rebounds.
The Blazers, 36-17, begin the second half of the NBA season at home Wednesday night against the 38-15 San Antonio Spurs.
