MCMINNVILLE, Ore. (AP) — McMinnville police detectives are trying to identify a Facebook user who is blackmailing girls to send nude photos.

Police say the problem started when a local girl was “friended” by an unidentified person who was able to persuade her to provide nude photos of herself. After receiving those photos, the Facebook user started blackmailing the girl to send more.

Then on Thursday, the nude photos were sent to a friend of the girl. The Facebook user threatened to share the photos globally unless the second girl agreed to send naked photos of herself.

McMinnville police want anyone with information to contact them.
