PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A passenger in a small car heading east on State Route 14 was killed Sunday night when the car crashed near the SE 164th Avenue ramp.
WSP Trooper Will Finn told KOIN 6 News this is a single-vehicle, small passenger car crash.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, Finn said. He said the driver had to be extricated, but there’s no word yet on the driver’s condition.
Finn could not say if the region’s rain-soaked roads were factor in this crash.
The State Route 14 crash is blocking the left eastbound lane of SR 14 at Milepost 7.60. The blockage began at 8:54 p.m. and will continue “until further notice,” according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
