HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — A pot-bellied pig brought to a suburban Portland animal shelter by police has been reunited with his owner.
Washington County Animal Services manager Deborah Wood said the pig apparently got away from his pet-sitter. The animal was brought to the Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter on Wednesday by Tigard police.
The pig, named “Pumbaa,” went home Thursday. Wood reports he was “very friendly” and appeared healthy and well-cared for.
