CLACKAMAS, Ore. (KOIN) – A Clackamas bank robber had a rather unusual request for the teller Friday morning: $1.

Around 10:20 a.m., a 50-year-old man walked into the Bank of America on Southeast 82nd Avenue and handed the teller a note that read, “This is a hold up. Give me a dollar.”

After receiving the bill, he went and sat down in the lobby, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Deputies arrived and arrested Tim Alsip. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail on a count of second-degree robbery.

Authorities said Alsip has shown other strange behavior this week, including flagging down officers by himself or prompting citizens to call.
