Zoo credit card thief sought

(KOIN) – Police are searching for a man who used credit cards stolen from a stroller at the Oregon Zoo last month.

On July 12, the victim’s purse was stolen from a stroller while it was sitting inside a restroom at the zoo. The woman cancelled her credit cards later that night after discovering the theft.

Portland police have released surveillance photos of a man who used one the stolen credit cards at a metro area grocery store. The name of the store and the date it was used was not disclosed.

The suspect was described as white, with short brown hair, a goatee and facial hair. He also has a distinct tattoo on his upper right arm.
