(KOIN) – A single-car crash left two people injured in Troutdale Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at about 6:20 a.m. in the area of Southwest Cherry Park Road and 257th Avenue, near Reynolds High School. The two occupants were trapped in the Toyota for a short time, Troutdale police said. A Life Flight helicopter was initially called out, but was unable to land due to weather conditions.
The two patients were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital with moderate to serious injuries. Their names and conditions were unknown.
The exact details of the crash were not confirmed. One lane of northbound 257th Avenue was expected to remain closed through about 9 a.m. while emergency responders cleared the scene.
